WebCurse of the tower might be the worst item in the game after cursed eye imo. It just sucks unless you have good synergies or safety scissors. Some items can totally ruin some characters though, like isaac's heart completely destroys tainted forgotten. And monstro's lung on tainted lilith without tears up can make you wanna die.
