WebJan 30, 2024 · The PVP will be the same as it is now, just with a new mode that you don’t even have to buy OW2 to get if you have OW1. The game engine is being updated as well. The only thing you will have to buy is the PvE mode. Based on this, I would bet your lootboxes will carry over since it isn’t actually a different game. 1 Like.
